About The Position

Bon Secours is a network dedicated to providing excellent care through exceptional people, with a legacy that spans over 150 years. The Multi-Modality Tech 2 Opportunities at the Ashland Freestanding ED are set to open in early December 2025. We are currently hiring for evening and night shifts, including weekends only and various night and evening schedules. Candidates accepting a full-time offer may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20K, with specific rules and restrictions applying. Internal associates are not eligible for this bonus.

Requirements

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute for an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography (preferred).
• Associate of Applied Science in Imaging (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred).
• State Licensure Certification (preferred or required by the state where the job is being performed).
• Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT (required).
• Competence in 2 of the following and obtain certification within 12 months: Bone Densitometry (BD), Breast Sonography (BS), Radiologic Technology (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Ultrasonography (S), Nuclear Medicine (N), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Cardiac Sonographer (CS), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Mammography (M), Vascular Sonography (VS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in healthcare environment (preferred).
• Training in EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred).
• Experience with Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred).
• Familiarity with Radiology Information System (RIS) (preferred).
• IV Contrast Administration training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform and produce images for any combination of 2 procedures with related techniques, such as CT, XR, or MRI.
• Safely operate equipment and accessories to minimize risk of patient and equipment.
• Select appropriate imaging and sequences in alignment with multiple factors.
• Demonstrate knowledge in workflows, procedures, and processes of the imaging modalities.
• Perform venipuncture including starting, maintaining, and removing intravenous access.
• Provide radiation protection and other protection specific to the modalities.
• Obtain and verify the patient clinical history and lab work.
• Use of POC device for Lab work.
