About The Position

Melissa Memorial Hospital is looking for someone to join our team as a Xray and CT Technologist. The ideal candidate provides high quality imaging procedures to our patients, consistent with the quality and expectations required of all Radiology Technologists. Requirements

Education: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and CT. Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist R.T.(R)(CT) (ARRT) in good standing.
Current CPR certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Other Certifications: Certification MRI (MR) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

They will review requisitions and exam forms to determine the type of exam that is required for each patient.
They must be able to think critically in order to determine how to accurately position patients while determining exposure factors in order to obtain a high-quality image.
The Radiology Technologist will also perform standard Radiographic exams with the use of Siemens Digital Radiography and portable, GE C-Arm, and Siemens CT. Willingness to enter the On-Call rotation once fully acclimated to General Radiology, CT. MR preferred but not required.
Employee will be in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays. Employee will fill in day shift and call rotation as needed. Weekend call is Friday 5pm to Monday 7:30am. Weekday call 5pm to 7:30am. Day Shift 7am to 5:30pm.
