Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Multi-Modality Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging office in Silver Spring, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging studies, properly identify patients, review orders, and select appropriate protocols to maximize quality and safe patient care. You will receive patients, explain procedures, and answer all patient questions and concerns pertaining to the exam. You will perform a variety of special imaging examinations using established or dictated protocols and perform all of the three different modalities as needed. Additionally, you will accurately perform documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS), reconstruct images, process films, operate imaging and other related equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications, and monitor and assist patients before, during, and after examinations while maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will also be knowledgeable and practice ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients, maintain patient, hospital, and employee confidentiality, and provide quality care to patients of varying categories, i.e., pediatrics, geriatric, and adolescent patients. Furthermore, you will perform quality control and maintain pertinent local, state, and federal records as applicable to different sections, applying the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients we serve in the office.

  • Bachelor's preferred but not required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • AART (RT) and (CT) certified, or MRI Certified or Mammo Certified.
  • RDMS and RVT preferred Breast experience.
  • Must have at least one specialty certification in addition to AART.
  • State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license required.
