The Specialty Multi-Modality Technologist performs routine and complex high quality imaging exams in assigned modalities. The Specialty Multi-Modality Technologist provides safe, patient-centered care with attention to the physical and emotional needs of patients of all age groups. The Specialty Multi-Modality Technologist must be willing and able to learn new skills, and is required to maintain annual competencies in assigned modalities. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) orCertification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) orCertification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) as a Sonographer ARRT(S) or RDMS or CCI certification in Medical Sonography or RDCS certification in Cardiac Sonography or RVT certification as Vascular Technologist ANDAt least one of the following specialty certifications:MRICTPETARDMS or CCI or RDCS or RVT-specialty certificationVI or CI or CCIMammo Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers)Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) orCertification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) orCertification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) as a sonographer ARRT(S) orRDMS or CCI certification in Medical Sonography or RDCS certification in Cardiac Sonography or RVT certification as Vascular Technologist ANDThe team member regularly works in both modalities and rotates as requested by supervisor.Team member must meet eligibility requirements for multi-modality role and progress to Clinical Ladder Level 2 within 24 months of hire
