About The Position

The Multi-Modality Technologist is credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities. Strives to provide patient centered care. Upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
• Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience required.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
• Ability to communicate exams/procedures to patients.
• Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with imaging equipment and patient care equipment.
• Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for various modalities as needed.
• Ensure patient-centered care is delivered during all procedures.
