About The Position

The Multi-Modality Field Service Engineer at Philips is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Preferred experience in imaging modalities such as diagnostic x-ray, cardiovascular/cath labs, MR, or CT.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Ability to perform physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in multiple imaging modalities.
• Knowledge of tools and test equipment used in the field service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments and arrival times.
• Understand the customer's business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
• Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
• Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes, including timesheets and service work orders.
• Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively.
• Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks.
