About The Position

The Multi Modal Content Software Engineer at Guidehouse is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems that involve processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and manipulation of large data sets. The role requires collaboration within a team or independent work, focusing on software design methodologies and ensuring adherence to design requirements through testing and documentation. The engineer will also provide input on system design and software components, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis.

Requirements

• Active and current Top Secret/SCI federal security clearance with full scope/lifestyle polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Seven or more years of experience as a Software Engineer (additional four years of experience can be submitted in lieu of degree).
• Five years of experience with C, C++, Assembly, Perl, Java, Bash, SQL.
• Experience with neural networks, transformers, and Python.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting research and development of entity, event, and topic identification and correlation across multimedia inputs (image, audio, and text in multiple languages).
