About The Position

WJZ - TV in Baltimore is seeking a creative and experienced Multi-Media Journalist/Reporter for TV and all digital platforms. This position involves reporting, writing, shooting, and editing engaging, informative, and compelling news content. The successful candidate will develop and implement enterprise stories regularly, supply news content to the station’s social media and digital platforms, and maintain an unequivocal dedication to accuracy, fairness, and ethics while ensuring all daily production deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Three years of experience as an MMJ.
• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a similar field preferred.
• Proven experience shooting and editing with small or mid-sized professional video cameras used in MMJ reporting.
• Must be willing to join SAG/AFTRA Union.

Responsibilities

• Report, write, shoot, and edit engaging, informative, and compelling news content.
• Develop and implement enterprise stories regularly.
• Regularly supply news content to the station’s social media and digital platforms.
• Maintain an unequivocal dedication to accuracy, fairness, and ethics.
• Ensure meeting all daily production deadlines.
• Other duties, as assigned.
