DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Develop useful and engaging content for target audiences and the Department’s social media sites. This includes written materials, graphics, photography, video, and other campaign materials. Assembles and summarizes information for use by the professional staff. Assists Executive Staff with special projects that support the Office of the Secretary and other State leadership. Assists with the development of Office of Communications annual strategic plan, the social media strategic plan, and various marketing campaign strategic plans. Identifies social media opportunities and strategies to proactively communicate the Department’s mission and provide information to the public. Tracks social media analytics and plans for future outreach based on performance metrics. Performs other related duties as assigned.
