Requirements

  • Previous sales experience strongly preferred (media or marketing experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills - You know how to pitch the sale, knowing that you’re bringing true value to the table
  • Highly charismatic with a competitive drive - people trust you, follow you, and buy from you
  • A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset – you’re ready to take control of your pipeline, your strategy, and your earning potential
  • Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and required vehicle insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus if you are a proven closer with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue goals; double bonus if you’ve got a solid understanding of traditional and digital media landscapes

Responsibilities

  • Own your territory, building and growing a strong book of business through networking, prospecting, relationship development, and account management
  • Uncover what clients truly need – and then present compelling, customized proposals with strategic business solutions that align with their goals
  • Lead with strategy, not inventory, recommending what is best for the individual client, not what “needs to be sold” (Are you seeing the beauty of customization yet?)
  • Operate with autonomy to implement integrated campaigns that drive results, not just fill ad space
  • Collaborate with in-house creative teams to develop and execute high-quality campaigns and bring ideas to life across digital, print, social media, broadcast, and other channels
  • Own the outcome - monitor campaign performance, optimize results, and demonstrate clear ROI
