About The Position

APG Media of Chesapeake — one of the top-performing units in the Adams MultiMedia network — is looking for a hungry Inside Sales Representative to join our team.

This isn't cold-calling into the void. You'll be connecting with real local businesses across the Chesapeake region, helping them solve real marketing problems using a powerful suite of advertising tools: 11 newspapers, multiple magazines, a growing events calendar, and digital platforms all rooted in the communities people here actually care about.

What the role looks like: You'll work the phones and your inbox, building relationships with business owners and decision-makers — listening to what's holding them back, then matching them with the right solution from our full-service traditional and digital advertising lineup. You won't be figuring it out alone either — experienced leaders are in your corner, ready to jump on calls and help you close.

Oh, and you'll start with an existing book of business. That means commissions from day one, not month three.

Requirements

• Have sales experience in any field
• Are comfortable on the phone and genuinely enjoy talking to people
• Know how to listen (underrated, trust us)
• Live on social media and get how it shapes buying decisions
• Are proactive, self-motivated, and competitive in the best way
