About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Multi Machine Operator to join our production team in Pineville, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple types of machinery to ensure consistent, high-quality production output. You will play a critical part in our manufacturing operations, working to meet production schedules while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven ability to operate multiple types of machines and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cutting machines or computerized equipment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Material handling experience
- Proficiency with production management software or computer systems
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor multiple machines simultaneously, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production specifications
- Set up machines according to work orders, including adjusting settings, loading materials, and calibrating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery for wear or damage
- Conduct quality inspections on produced items and report any defects or inconsistencies
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs or escalate issues to maintenance personnel
- Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, downtime, and material usage
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Organize and manage workspace to ensure efficiency and compliance with operational standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and equipment concerns
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures
