This position will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of gas compression equipment in the Odessa, Texas region of our company. This position is a rotational position.

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities including prime movers and compressors, valves, filters, separators, dehydrators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize, communicate, and coordinate work with employees and contractors.
  • Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate needed resources.
  • Interpret and utilize drawings, schematics, loading curves, OEM manuals, and other technical resources.
  • Effectively and safely use hand tools, power tools, and portable and mobile work equipment.
  • Utilize precision measurement equipment to determine dimensions and set operating equipment clearances and tolerances.
  • Maintain equipment records, logs, inventory, and other documentation required by the Partnership's procedures and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide training and leadership to develop and maintain effective work crews.
  • Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
  • Maintain facilities, grounds, and work areas in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.
  • Actively participate and provide leadership in safety programs and initiatives.
  • Provide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis.
  • Comply with partnership safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform energy isolation lock out/tag out procedures (LOTO).
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Level A/Lead requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving record.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3600 ADEM III AND ADEM IV trouble shooting skills and major/minor maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and perform operation and maintenance tasks associated with various types of facilities and equipment.
  • Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook.
