About The Position

As a Manufacturing Manager at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, you will oversee various functional areas including machining, assembly, tool and die, and packaging. Your role is crucial in managing a team of hourly/non-exempt employees, ensuring adherence to policies and schedules, and driving operational excellence. You will be responsible for recruitment, training, performance assessments, and ensuring projects are completed on time with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities and flexibility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP for timekeeping and labor auditing, or similar system.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and production standards.
• Problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies and coordinate operational needs.
• Must be a US Person.
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or 4+ years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CNC machining and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience in metal plating and heat treat processes.
• Previous Sikorsky experience.
• Previous leadership experience in a represented workforce environment.
• Ability to manage budgets and apply company policies consistently.
