Job Summary The Multi-Family Sector Energy Commissioning Engineer supports multifamily residential projects by providing energy modeling, commissioning, and performance verification services that advance energy efficiency, sustainability, and high-performance building outcomes. This role collaborates with clients, owners, and design teams to analyze building energy consumption, evaluate HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and recommend practical, cost-effective efficiency and decarbonization strategies. The Engineer leads and supports certification and compliance efforts for Passive House, ENERGY STAR Multifamily, LEED for Homes, WELL, and other green building programs, including inspections, testing, verification, and documentation. Responsibilities also include life-cycle cost analysis, energy audits, development of technical reports, and completion of energy and needs assessments, ensuring multifamily projects meet performance goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term operational efficiency targets.
