The Hardware Engineering Department in Portsmouth, RI is seeking new college hires in the area of analog, digital, mixed signal, configurable logic or power design. The desired candidate would possess a desire to gain expertise in two or more of these specialized areas and can work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment: Analog Design – small signal amplification and filtering, low noise techniques Mixed Signal Design - A/D D/A Converters, Waveform Generators Digital design: MUXs, gates, buffers, registers, ram / flash memory Embedded Systems: FPGAs, MPUs, SoC, Signal Processing Magnetics Design – Inductor, Transformer, Tuning Networks Power Design - Filters, EMI Suppression, Overload/Short Circuit/Stress Analysis Optical – Networking, Long-haul Fiber, Repeaters, Splicing and Routing Simulation tools: PSpice, Matlab Acoustics: Transducer/Sensor Design The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.
