About The Position

The Multi-Craft Technician will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks and Annual Overhauls. The Multi-Craft Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and facilities equipment electrically and mechanically. The position is responsible for learning and assisting in performing/improving equipment changeover time ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Selected candidates will also be involved with new equipment installations and facility maintenance. The Multi-Craft Technician will participate in and lead continuous improvement projects and conduct structured breakdown analysis on failed components.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Mechatronic Engineering, or Automotive
  • 3+ years as a multi-skilled technician in high-speed manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical blueprints
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ERP & CMMS (SAP) experience
  • Strong time management, mentoring, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in tight spaces
  • Manual dexterity required

Responsibilities

  • Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of safety incidents and near-misses.
  • Comply with all PPE and GMP Standards.
  • Adhere to all housekeeping standards and participate in 5S principles.
  • Execute daily, weekly and shutdown activities according to schedule.
  • Perform LOTO on equipment as per Liberty Coca-Cola safety procedures.
  • Maintenance and repairs carried out as per works order, meeting all the quality and safety requirements.
  • Verify functionality of equipment after all repairs ensuring Quality/Production approval.
  • Enter work orders via CMMS for repairs and breakdowns and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Repair/Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime, including utilizing PLC and operator HMI screens.
  • Assist with equipment changeovers as per production schedule.
  • Participate in change-over time reduction projects and improve ramp-up times.
  • Manage or establish centerlines of mechanical and electrical settings for each product type.
  • Perform root cause analysis on unresolved events leading to ineffective operations.
  • Carry out new project/equipment/improvement installations within expected time frames.
  • Other duties as assigned.
