About The Position

To perform preventative and corrective maintenance as required on various machines, equipment, or systems to improve the reliability for the manufacturing operation. · Outstanding Record keeping skills to include time accounting, work order systems and machine parts management. · Proficient in removing, installing, replacing, starting up, operating for test purposes, testing, adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and aligning equipment systems and major assemblies.

Requirements

Employee must successfully complete the appropriate training programs for the operation of powered industrial trucks. (Forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial lifts)
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. If the employee cannot demonstrate this experience, they will be required to successfully complete the required training.
Must be able to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
Strong background in either an industrial mechanical or industrial electrical field.
Proactive and self-motivated attitude.

Nice To Haves

Strong background in both industrial mechanical and electrical fields.
PLC ladder logic knowledge or training.
SAP maintenance management software experience or other similar CMMS experience.
Knowledge with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or steam boilers.
Welding experience.
