About The Position

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician at Tampico Bottling, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of machinery, mechanical equipment, and industrial vehicles within the manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The technician will collaborate with contractor services and report directly to the Maintenance Manager, working primarily on the third shift.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in maintenance or production work in a manufacturing environment required.
• 3+ years experience in 3 phase electrical required.
• Relevant certification from a trade school required.
• Ability to follow and understand blueprints, operations manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer's instructions.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, OSHA requirements, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in process control and welding skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Preventive Actions, Quality Policy, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety policies.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) duties in accordance with the CMMS and plant requirements.
