About The Position

The Maintenance Technician A will perform duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment 1st shift: M-F 7a-3p overtime and weekends as needed HIRING NOW GREAT BENEFITS FULL TIME VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Requirements

Five years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience, including but not limited to: diagnosing and troubleshooting; preventative maintenance; lockout/tagout procedures.
PLC Troubleshooting experience
Multi-Craft Industrial experience: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have good working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques, work order systems, equipment lubrication standards and industrial safety standards
Highly motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during service
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as necessary
Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair motor circuits, which includes simple electrical control circuits
Test electric motors for opens and shorts
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Follow LOTO procedures for machines/equipment
Regular and timely attendance required
Notify supervision of needed repairs
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
