About The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible for the evaluation and analysis of multiple cloud offerings, including design and architecting activities. Experience with on-prem and off-prem, as well as hybrid solutions is preferred. The selected candidate will be able to impact mission continuity and offerings by advising senior government on system transition to cloud and from current system platforms.

Requirements

• Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D.
• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with on-prem and off-prem as well as hybrid cloud offerings
• Experience architecting and/or developing cloud solutions within AWS, Azure, or Google
• Demonstrated ability to work well with other government and contractors in an intellectually challenging work environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure, Oracle, or Google cloud offerings in federal space
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA Atlassian commercial tools
• Experience or training with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodologies
• 5+ years’ experience in SE Technical Assistance (SETA), acquisition, and the IC

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emergent cloud technologies and advise transition roadmaps for current systems and their capabilities
• Advise and consult on cloud acquisition strategies
• Analyze strengths and deficiencies on various system cloud migration strategies to deliver the recommendations that are cost effective and efficient
• Identify deployment and integration issues with current technology and solving critical vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with current and future cloud service providers to identify and implement optimal solutions in cloud environments
• Ensure future cloud architecture is sufficiently designed to achieve platform technology roadmap
