About The Position

Serves as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, unit secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG's, and functioning as a Monitor Tech. Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
• Licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or EMT
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Certified EKG or ECG Technician (CET) preferred

Nice To Haves

• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting (preferred for Multi-Care Tech I)
• One year of patient care experience required in a hospital setting (for Multi-Care Tech II)

Responsibilities
