About The Position

The Multi Functional Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing team for the Missiles and Fire Control division in Ocala, focusing on managing cost, quality, and schedule for multiple programs. This role involves leading a team of 20-40 production employees, ensuring safety and production standards are met, and driving quality and cost targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to develop and execute daily production plans with minimal supervision.
• Experience assigning work to a unionized workforce and ensuring accountability.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of a specified group of production employees while ensuring safety, cost, quality, and production standards are met.
• Motivate and energize teams to achieve production goals.
• Resolve conflicts and build respectful working relationships within the team.
• Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans independently.
• Assign work to unionized hourly workforce and hold employees accountable for processes, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
