Radar | Lockheed Martin What We’re Doing Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for RADAR and Electronic Warfare Technology. We provide surface, air and undersea solutions, including radar and surveillance systems, undersea combat systems, and surface combat systems and sensors. The Work In this position, you will be a responsible systems/software engineering leader for the Ground Based and Multi-Mission Air Defense product line groups in Syracuse NY, leading 16-22 systems/software engineers in the development of complex systems. Primary program support is for Army Radar products. Responsible for personnel management including staffing, administration, performance assessment, and feedback. Program area responsibilities include review and approving of functional proposal input and BOEs. Individual will own, execute, and status department level initiatives, and act as change agent in responsible area with focus on affordability and advancing technical capabilities and innovation. The manager supports and oversees the development and execution of engineering efforts including ensuring cost, schedule, and technical milestones are met. It is expected that the Manager will be > 50% applied doing direct program tasking in some type of leadership and/or technical capacity within the Ground Based and Multi-Mission Air Defense radar product areas. Staffing responsibilities include the projection and planning of appropriate staffing levels, recruiting and selection of interns, contractors, college hires and experienced professionals. Requirements

BS in EE, SE, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Risk management experience and expertise, including identification, mitigation and abatement planning and tracking
Detailed knowledge and understanding of systems engineering processes, the flow down of system requirements, and the interaction of system and subsystem requirements that result in a firm set of system and subsystem level performance requirements, subsystem integration, and system test.
Experience leading teams.

Nice To Haves

Broad background in systems and software engineering and with specific experience in Radar Systems Engineering and Radar Integration, Verification and Validation is desired.
Experience with radar system integration and test planning and procedure development and system validation and final sell off is desired.
Ground Based Radar product experience is preferred.
Demonstrated interpersonal, team-building skills, strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Strong customer focus with a proven record of outstanding customer satisfaction.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Experience with other advanced SE/SW techniques such as Agile and MBSD is a plus, as is experience in several key domains including architecture, analysis, design, trade studies, integration, and test.
