About The Position

The MuleSoft Technical Consultant supports the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft integrations that enable seamless processing and workflow automation within Salesforce and associated legacy systems.

This role focuses on building integration services that ingest new submissions, create and update Salesforce cases, and synchronize status updates across systems while ensuring data integrity through accurate mapping and transformation.

This is a remote position with occasional onsite travel possible.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio
• Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce, including workflow-driven integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to map, transform, and validate data across enterprise systems.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code refactoring in Agile delivery environments.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with enterprise reporting integrations and data extraction for tools such as Power BI
• Experience integrating with Oracle and/or similar legacy enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting “seamless processing” or automation initiatives within public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Build system integrations to automatically ingest new submissions, create Salesforce cases, and write back processing status updates.
• Perform data mapping between legacy systems (Oracle, RRS, and related sources) and Salesforce Core workflows (including the “PM Digital Assistant” process).
• Develop and deploy MuleSoft flows using Anypoint Studio to support agency-approved document workflow triggers initiated from Salesforce.
• Configure secondary system connectivity to support reporting and data access needs, including integration support for Power BI (capacity permitting).
• Develop MuleSoft APIs and integration services aligned to program integration patterns and standards.
• Execute unit testing and continuous refactoring to improve maintainability, extensibility, and sprint-to-sprint delivery quality.
• Support integration troubleshooting, defect resolution, and performance improvements.
• Convert user requirements into API design and deployable MuleSoft integration components.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and technical delivery teams to ensure end-to-end integration success.
