About The Position

As a Mulesoft Technical Lead, you will make an impact by leading the design, development, and governance of enterprise-grade Mulesoft integrations that ensure seamless, high-quality data movement across systems. You will be a valued member of the Integration Services team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, architects, and project managers. In this role, you will: - Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable Mulesoft integrations. - Oversee enforcement of data standards, governance, and data quality frameworks. - Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews. - Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs. - Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure optimal performance, maintainability, and reliability. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC; New Jersey; or San Francisco, CA. Requirements

  • 12–16 years of experience in Mulesoft integration architecture, design, and development.
  • Strong expertise in API-led connectivity, API management, SOA, ESB, REST, and cloud integration patterns.
  • Deep knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, WSSecurity, and MFA.
  • Proven experience implementing data standards, data quality frameworks, and integration governance.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring developers and leading technical delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Mulesoft Architect Certification.
  • Experience with advanced Mulesoft features and latest platform capabilities.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale enterprise integration programs.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in hybrid multi-cloud integration environments.
