Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a MuleSoft Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA, and the qualified applicant will become part of Buchanan & Edwards Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA's customers. As a MuleSoft Architect, you will guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging MuleSoft technologies that drive increased business value. You will work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect MuleSoft technology solutions that meet their requirements. Your role will involve identifying and proactively managing risk areas with the platform, ensuring that solutions are compliant with customer policies and regulations, and overseeing the technical quality of the integration solutions to ensure they are operationalized effectively. You will define integration standards and patterns for MuleSoft technology solutions, understand and transform business requirements into scalable and manageable solution architecture and design specifications, and design Mule applications for the AnyPoint Platform following a hybrid deployment architecture. Additionally, you will provide program-level leadership and guidance for AnyPoint Platform and MuleSoft technology solutions, contribute to a program vision, and advise on program/project strategies regarding enabling technologies including the MuleSoft Platform. Developing and communicating the MuleSoft Platform and technology roadmap across the CSM Program will also be part of your responsibilities.
