Join Microsoft AI, where we’re helping build Humanist Superintelligence—AI that is ultra-capable, controllable, and always in service of humanity. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll design frameworks that ensure our AI systems are safe, reliable, and amplify human potential. This role is focused on platform features, operation, and stability of Copilot inference. You’ll drive improvements into our model deployment, scaling, and utilization tools. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver technology that solves meaningful problems for our organization and drive efficiencies into our resource utilization. MAI operates with the agility and intensity of a startup—fast-paced, iterative, and impact-driven. Success here requires a scrappy mindset: someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and adapts quickly to shifting priorities. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys designing solutions from the ground up, not just executing predefined tasks. If you’re energized by ownership, innovation, and building frameworks that influence product direction, you’ll feel right at home on our team. Starting January 26, 2026, MAI employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.) or 25 miles (non-U.S., country-specific) of that location. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
