As a Member of Technical Staff within the DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) at Micron, your team will be in charge of validating sophisticated DRAM products, coordinating assets, and analyzing generated validation data. The team will also write applicable validation code to evaluate established performance metrics of applicable part types in addition to crafting and specifying vital hardware to ensure high-fidelity measurements. In this role, you will be an expert on tester operations, capabilities, and limitations as well as a technical resource within tester families. You should have experienced knowledge of the validation code and measurement techniques used to evaluate systems performance, including debugging code, and aiding other engineers. Additional responsibilities include an in-depth understanding of the general systems functionality, as well as an understanding of schematics and signal integrity.   • Develop deep partnerships with Design, Verification, Product Architecture, Customer Enablement, and Silicon Strategy teams to deliver products effectively and efficiently
  • Partner with Design For Test (DFT) and Test Solutions Engineering to deliver best in class silicon trimming and settings for high performance at the lowest power
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement efforts for performance and power
  • Coordinate closely with Product Leadership Team to ensure performance is fully represented in overall product leadership approach, and strategies are aligned to delivering to the product objectives/timelines
  • Understand product support roadmaps and strategies to ensure your team can support all Compute designs
  • As a team leader you will provide mentorship and career development, identify team strengths and weaknesses and create specific development plans with team members, conduct performance appraisals, provide recognition and drive accountability across the team
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Strong software skills using Python, C, C++, Verilog, and Linux scripting skills (Bash/Tcl)
  • Experience in high speed and high performance systems architectures
  • Design, Verification or Product Engineering experience
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams across multiple sites
  • Solid interpersonal skills and a track record as a strong collaborator
  • Technical leadership experience preferred
  • Possess solid understanding of the way product yields impact revenue
  • A record of performance excellence for current/previous areas of responsibility
  • Viewed by current team as a strong mentor and teammate
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside the department
