Requirements

• Must enjoy working with kids of varying skill levels.
• Must be able to ride at an intermediate to advanced level.
• IMBA or PMBI certification or a background working with and organizing groups is a plus.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
• Must have a passion for Mt. Biking and the mountain environment.
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in bike maintenance.
• Ability to push, pick up, and drag 50 lbs.
• Ability to bike ride on beginner and intermediate mountain trails effectively for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mt. Biking to all ages.
• Responsible for delivering exciting lessons to provide students with a positive and successful learning experience.
• Display strong decision-making skills that allow for a safe learning environment.
• Instructors are responsible for the well-being of their students at all times during the lesson.
• Teach mountain bike maintenance and safety inspection to students.
• Attend designated training to develop personal and professional riding and teaching skills.
• Must be able to remain outside in all weather conditions during lessons.
