The Maritime Strike Tomahawk (MST) Production Program Manager is responsible for the execution of the MST Seeker Suite production contracts. The Seeker Suite is comprised of 19 discrete parts including the Seeker Assembly supported by five critical suppliers. This program supports NAVAIR’s need to integrate seeker technology into a Modernized TACTOM missile to provide increased long-range Surface Warfare capability to the U.S. Navy. This position requires proficiency in dynamic production problem solving, leading cross functional teams, managing a high visibility effort, and driving communication of project goals/objectives/decisions and results to team, customers, and leadership. This is an onsite position at our Tucson, AZ facility Relocation is NOT available currently.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Prior Leadership/Management experience
  • Prior Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience or similar program/system
  • Prior experience working cross functionally (ex: Engineering, Operations, Finance etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external, including Industry Partners
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints
  • Production program experience
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems
  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval.
  • Raytheon Program Management certification at level 5, with ability to achieve level 4 within 12 months.
  • Prior experience supporting development, production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.
  • Proficiency with RMD Program Management tools or similar program management systems
