About The Position
A leading biotechnology company is seeking an MST Lab Engineer to serve as the main point of contact for laboratory logistics, including acting as equipment owner to assist Process Engineering, Facilities, Metrology, and Maintenance teams with the troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Requirements
- +2 years of experience in a biopharm industry lab setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement laboratory improvements related to organization (5S) and safety.
- Serve as the Point of Contact for IT integration activities related to laboratory equipment, as well as for activities related to equipment management associated with lab rescoping.
- Author and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory equipment.
- Support management and implementation of electronic lab notebook systems, including developing templates for MST experiments.
- Author and support the execution of laboratory experiments at the direction of MST lab staff.
- Perform review and data verification for technical documents and reports.
- Generate documentation related to the introduction and qualification of materials used in GMP processing under the supervision of MST staff.
