The MSP Tier 3 Analyst at F8 Consulting is a full-time role focused on ensuring robust and secure network operations in high-stakes environments. This position involves advanced troubleshooting, network design, and implementation, as well as collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance organizational infrastructure strategy. The analyst will work with cutting-edge technologies and play a pivotal role in bridging routine operational support with long-term network strategy.

  • Diagnose and resolve high-level, critical network issues that require in-depth technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for escalated issues related to hardware, software, or firmware bugs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to handle emergencies or critical system outages.
  • Assist in planning, designing, and implementing advanced network solutions.
  • Configure complex systems such as multi-site VPNs, data center networks, and cloud connectivity.
  • Analyze network performance metrics and implement solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or major network incidents.
  • Implement and troubleshoot security measures like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop detailed documentation for complex network configurations and solutions.
  • Act as a mentor and technical resource for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
  • Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and clients' IT leadership to design and execute large-scale projects.
  • Test and deploy updates to network systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Proficiency with networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
  • Expertise in managing enterprise-level equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, SharePoint, Google Cloud) and hybrid systems.
  • Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer or JNCIP/JNCIE are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership abilities to guide teams and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills for diagnosing systemic issues and developing innovative solutions.
