The Maryland State Police (MSP) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Aviation Maintenance Training Coordinator to join the Support Services Bureau. This position is crucial for ensuring that all aviation maintenance personnel receive the necessary training to comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency within the aviation command. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for executing the Training Program, maintaining training manuals, and ensuring that the Repair Station adheres to all relevant FAA rules and regulations. In this role, the Training Coordinator will assess the Command's training needs and develop a comprehensive training program that addresses both overall requirements and individual employee needs. This includes defining the areas of study, courses, and lessons available to employees, as well as identifying appropriate training sources and methods. The Coordinator will document employee qualifications and training, measure the effectiveness of the training program, and implement necessary changes to enhance training outcomes. Additionally, the Training Coordinator will ensure compliance with all components of the Repair Station Training Manual and will make recommendations for improvements to repair station policies, procedures, and instructions. An annual review of the training program will be conducted to verify any changes that might affect training and to analyze the effectiveness of the training provided. The Coordinator will also perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the aviation maintenance team.
