About The Position

Delaware Valley Floral Group is looking to hire a full-time candidate to join our Receiving Team. This position is responsible for the physical receiving of product including offloading, breakdown, labeling, and check-in. This position is also accountable for safety and cleanliness in the receiving areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be mature, meticulous, self-driven, and able to work well independently
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies
• Requires training and proper knowledge of the following equipment: power jack, forklift, RF-Scanners
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Put Away - this process involves the receiving of product, counting and logging into system correctly, and putting the product away in the proper warehouse/location in an organized manner
• Cross Docking - this involves sorting inbound items by distribution center
• Receiving Trouble Shooting - this involves communicating and working with other Receivers to research discrepancies
• Picking & Sorting - this process involves making sure the proper product has been picked and scanned appropriately
• Safety & Housekeeping - all receivers work to maintain clean coolers and receiving dock work areas for safe and effective operations
