About The Position
Knight Federal Solutions is seeking a Military Analyst - Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) Planner to join our team in Suffolk, VA. This role is critical in supporting the Joint Staff in delivering collective joint training aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of both current and future joint forces. As a functional expert in the MSEL section, the MSEL Planner will be responsible for the planning, conceptualization, and preparation of MSEL products for joint and combined military exercises and mission rehearsals. This includes coordination with the Joint Exercise Support Team (JEST) to ensure that all MSEL products are developed to the highest standards. The MSEL Planner will participate in the development of MSEL Matrix, MSEL database, overview briefings, storylines, and scripted events for assigned Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events. This role also involves planning and facilitating MSEL synchronization events, providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and analysis for MSEL management and development. As the Lead MSEL Manager, the Planner will work closely with the Exercise Director and the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) during the execution phase of training events, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and effectively. Additionally, the MSEL Planner will provide instruction in MSEL operations to members of the JECG and attend planning conferences and execution events throughout the JELC.
