Rooted in the School’s Christian identity, the position requires a deep understanding of the Bible as a sacred, historical, and literary text, with the ability to guide students in thoughtful, age-appropriate exploration of faith, identity, and spirituality. Responsibilities may include teaching multiple sections of Bible, participating in Professional Learning Communities, advising students, contributing to interdisciplinary programming such as MayATL, and supporting the wider school community through extracurricular involvement. Teachers are expected to bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a cooperative spirit, as well as the ability to partner effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators. The role requires proficiency with instructional technology, a love of working with students, and the ability to promote an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
