About The Position

This role is responsible for the implementation of an Acumatica MRP system into the manufacturing process. The specialist will provide leadership as the subject matter expert for Acumatica MRP modules and ensure that all support departments are trained prior to implementation. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, and it reports to the Global Supply Chain Manager.

  • 3 – 5 years working with MRP (SAP, JDEdwards) experience
  • Supply chain, planning and experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing project plans and timelines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., customer service, operations, procurement).
  • Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Configuring and customizing the MRP system to meet specific business requirements.
  • Developing and documenting system configurations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Ensuring data integrity within the MRP system.
  • Developing reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Developing and delivering training materials and sessions for users.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on the MRP system.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize business processes and workflows.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training support roles within the team that are required to use Acumatica.
  • Interfacing with responsible managers to implement production schedules.
  • Liaising and communicating with other departments and ensuring an effective interface is maintained.
  • Providing technical expertise to the team.
  • Supporting, complying with, and ensuring complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
  • Being self-directed and self-driven, requiring minimal supervision.
