Assists the Supervisor or lead in ensuring responsibilities and functions are performed in a safe and compliant manner. Follows established safety and environmental guidelines and procedures for all work performed. Immediately reports safety and environmental incidents including injuries, illnesses, near misses, and safety suggestions. Fosters a positive injure free safety culture Manage and update MRO master data on all parts, components, and materials as needed. Provide on the job training and coaching to staff members. Receive, inspect and document parts, materials and components in accordance with department work instructions, job aids, and SOPs. Receive, inspect and document GMP material in accordance with department and SOPs. Develop procedures and business processes that promote continued department improvement and development. Able to submit and manage change control initiatives for MRO. Complete specialized project assignments as required. Participates on cross-functional, cross-department teams as needed. Support and/or assist with cycle counts and inventory checks. Receive and Inspect GMP raw material transfers from network sites. Raw Material sampling for retest goods when required. Manage Inventory, control materials, issue parts and components to work orders and other customers. Perform basic preventive maintenance duties for material handling equipment (forklifts) including visual inspections and logbook documentation. Ability to operate materials handling equipment; pallet jack, drum picker, fixed and mobile drum lifters, forklifts, and mobile IBC lifter “walkie-stackie” Maintaining and accurately complete batch documentation for parts or components that require batch management. Manage inventory of equipment parts and consumable materials in support of process development, maintenance, manufacturing, quality control and other related areas utilizing industry wide standard inventory control practices. Perform routine administrative duties including data entry and assisting over‐the counter customers. Can act in a lead role for receiving and distribution/issuance of part shipments assisting with packaging, and labeling in both GMP and non-GMP environments. Able to submit and drive Change Control initiatives within warehouse. Initiate and investigate department discrepancies in quality systems. Oversee the work of contract staff as directed by the supervisor and report status and issues to the supervisor in a timely manner. Able to pass the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA). Follows established safety and environmental guidelines and procedures for all work performed. Immediately reports safety and environmental incidents including injuries, illnesses, near misses, and safety suggestions. Fosters a positive safety culture in which no one gets hurt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree and 4 year experience or HS and 6 year experience.
  • Minimum 4 year experience in Parts Maintenance, Warehouse or GMP regulated environment.
  • Familiarity of computer-based systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
  • Prior experience in batch making or processing preferred.
  • Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to meet DEA requirements for controlled materials exemption certification.
