MRO Production Planner

Our team is looking for an MRO Production Planner to join them. You will report to the MRO Operations Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL. Under the leadership of the MRO Operations Manager, the MRO Production Planner is responsible for developing the monthly production plan, identifies and drives actions needed to support production requirements. Responsible for material allocation and availability. Coordinates production and management of Ontic owned material and rotable assets. Coordinates and communicates across multiple functions as needed to support production requirements. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. Alternate work experience will be considered in place of degree.
- Working in a fast-paced professional office and manufacturing/production environment. Will be subject to loud/noisy conditions, required to comply with all PPE/Safety requirements.
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be very detail oriented
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a production planner in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Familiar with basic manufacturing processes and workflows
- Familiarity and direct experience with ERP systems
- Ability to read, interpret and understand technical data and drawings (Highly Preferred)
- Professional presence and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing and scheduling monthly production plan
- Organizing and conducting production meetings
- Material planning and allocation for production work orders
- Rotable asset scheduling and production
- Floor Stock material availability and management
- Creation, release and completion of internal work orders
- Coordinate material demand and delivery with supply chain
- This position will be asked to take on additional tasks and responsibilities when relevant.
