About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented MRO & Inventory Specialist to maintain the accuracy of our plant's physical inventory and manage the purchasing of non-production supplies. This is a critical role that ensures our facility runs smoothly by bridging the gap between logistics, inventory control, and indirect purchasing. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in the warehouse/plant floor while also comfortable managing billing, supplier relationships, and systemic data updates.

Requirements

  • High School diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in materials, planning, shipping, or manufacturing

  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict physical and systemic inventory accuracy for all material types, including Raw Materials and Work-in-Progress (WIP).
  • Lead and support the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts, ensuring all systemic updates are processed immediately to reflect reality.
  • Oversee the shipping of finished products to customers and suppliers, ensuring documentation and counts are precise.
  • Manage the logistics and tracking for parts moving to and from external facilities (e.g., Outsource Loops, GVL) to ensure timely processing.
  • Track and coordinate the return of reusable containers to vendors to prevent detention costs or shortages.
  • Manage the Revert material process, ensuring scrap/recyclable materials are properly accounted for and processed.
  • Handle all non-production purchasing duties, including sourcing and ordering shop supplies, prototypes, and maintenance (MRO) items.
  • Oversee plant vending machine operations, including restocking coordination, usage tracking, and related billing reconciliation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all indirect suppliers regarding inquiries, new initiatives, and service issues.
  • Proactively manage and resolve all supplier billing discrepancies and invoice issues to ensure timely payment and accurate financial reporting.
