About The Position

The Parts Clerk position is available in Franklin Park, IL, for individuals with experience in manufacturing as a Parts Clerk or MRO Clerk. This role offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement within a growing team. The compensation ranges from $21.00 to $26.50 per hour, with eligibility for annual and skill-based wage increases, as well as a monthly bonus based on plant productivity. The working hours are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of inventory management experience.
• At least one (1) year of SAP experience, preferred.
• Forklift Certified.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of company purchasing procedures.
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and verifies inventory levels for MRO materials.
• Orders, organizes, and properly logs and stores materials for the plant.
• Assists internal customers with locating and obtaining materials.
• Performs cycle counts and completes associated documents.
• Coordinates and arranges delivery of material/equipment needed from vendors.
• Reports and orders critically low assets.
• Verifies vendor and 3rd party list.
• Maintains contractor check-ins and outs of the facility.
• Utilizes OEM documentation, historical data, and technical support to source parts as required to support the plant.
• Maintains accurate records of inventory and cost as required by a public company.
• Maintains neatness of area outside of storeroom and related areas, clearing all stock items out of the hallway within 24 hours.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Uses Lift Truck to move equipment.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
