The salary range for this role is: $19.80 - $22.80 The MRO Clerk performs a wide variety of activities to ensure that the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) parts storage area functions efficiently. The MRO Clerk receives, organizes, and maintains the parts inventory. The position performs cycle counts of MRO items, kits parts for work orders, performs parts obsolescence audits, oversees vendor managed items, and assists facility with materials and supplies (M&S) items during processing season. The MRO Clerk does monthly fire system, fire extinguisher, and eye wash audits. This position reports directly to the designated Shift Supervisor and works with other plant personnel in a team environment. Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities include, ensure product safety through compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years' experience in MRO, preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Forklift experience preferred.
Prior inventory control experience preferred.
Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).
Forklift certification within 60-days.
Follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Maintain good attendance.
Good math skills.
Work cooperatively with others.
Able to work all shifts and days of the week.
Ability to walk/move/maneuver about the facility.
Bend/Twist/Pivot/Reach.
Must understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to Sit/Drive.
Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records.
Ability to withstand stress, including cold and hot temperatures.
Ability to climb On/Off power equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Responsible to efficiently perform the activities in the MRO parts storage area including ensuring the proper receipt and storage of MRO items; ordering, receiving, and storage of ingredients; receipt and distribution of M&S items in accordance with established procedures; maintaining applicable records;
monthly audits;
preparing shipping documents and shipping items being sent out via UPS, Fed Ex, etc.;
and perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
Purchase items as directed from Supervisor or Manager.
Safely operate a powered industrial lift truck, to include but not limited to:
Load and unload trucks.
Properly stock inventory locations.
Complete the daily driver checklist and maintain a clean work area.
Communicate with vendors and supplier representatives.
Miscellaneous parts pickup or deliveries.
Maintain adequate housekeeping in the parts storage area.
