About The Position

Responsible for the replenishment of MRO inventory for our DCs and the efficient management of DC inventories. As well as non-stocking/expense requests as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Generate daily purchase orders for assigned product lines as necessary for replenishment of the DC stock, in accordance with company procedures and regulations. Ensure that the goods purchased on behalf of Ozark Automotive meet specified conditions and acceptable standards. Serving as a liaison between Ozark Automotive and suppliers, resolving differences regarding the purchase of goods and determining the acceptability of goods in coordination with the Purchasing Department. Follows up on late deliveries, partial receipts, factory back orders, and expediting of orders from vendors. Work with MRO Manager and multiple departments on all projects related to new changeovers, and planogram updates. Analyze project requirements and work with support staff to implement project requirements. Maintain all item new loads as well as keeping up to date information, including UOM, descriptions, and item dimensions. Ensure appropriate purchases are made by Ozark Automotive by maintaining comprehensive descriptions of available products, their sources and current prices.

Requirements

  • Understanding of supply chain management, inventory management or retail replenishment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and vendors in a professional manner.
