About The Position

The shift is Monday-Friday, 2:30pm -10:30pm, with on-call hours, at University Hospital. Sign on bonus available for those who qualify!

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• May require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.
• Requires certification through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance, RT(MR); or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (RMRIT), within 12 months of hire.
• May be required to be registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) in another modality, if applicable.
• May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.

Nice To Haves

• MRI experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrates the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.
• Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images.
• Treats patients with care and respect.
