About The Position

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Requirements

• 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program or equivalent.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years sub-specialty MRI, scanning, or imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including setting up, scanning, and filming.
