About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support a high-volume Radiology/Cardiology department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality MRI examinations while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. This role involves scheduled patients only and requires proficiency with Philips MRI systems .

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience
• New York State Radiologic License and NYS Injection Registration
• ARRT (MRI) Certification
• Hands-on experience with Philips MRI equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images through proper patient positioning and equipment operation
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and hospital policies at all times
• Accurately document patient information and exam details in the medical record
• Collaborate effectively with Radiology, Cardiology, and clinical support teams
