About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. Performs diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines. The MRI technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department. How much will this job pay? Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity. Requirements

AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
Must facilitate the direct mailing of an official transcript verifying the successful completion of all courses necessary to satisfy the Structured Education requirements established by the ARRT for post primary pathway certification in MRI. This requirement is waived if candidate has already obtained the ARRT(MR) advanced registry.
Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire.
Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
Previous hospital experience preferred.
