About The Position

MRI Technologist Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: MRI Technologist Sign on bonus: $1,000 Location: Highland Park Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Registry/PRN Hours: evenings, 3pm-11pm, weekends Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule Required Travel: Local What you will do: Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

Requirements

License: ARRT
Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
Certification: CPR required
Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

Responsibilities
