About The Position

This shift is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 7am-7pm at University Hospital in Indianapolis. New hire bonus available for those that qualify! An MRI Technologist performs diagnostic procedures in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Requirements

  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • May require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.
  • Requires certification through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance, RT(MR); or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (RMRIT), within 12 months of hire.
  • May be required to be registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) in another modality, if applicable.
  • May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.

Nice To Haves

  • MRI experience is preferred.
